I am Larry Fisher RPT, and I have been working on pianos since 1971.
Early in life I was fascinated by my parents' player piano.
When they were out for the evening, I would open up the piano and look closely at the inner workings.
So I discovered what I wanted to do early in life, and I found that I had a knack for it.
As with all things, the more you learn, the more you find you don't know.
The Piano Technicians Guild has kept me informed on all aspects of piano tuning and repair.
I value their conferences and try to attend them when they are held nearby.
